Final Fantasy fans spot a possible Dirge of Cerberus remake clue in Gackt's cosplay
A legendary rockstar just sent Final Fantasy VII fans spiraling into remake rumors. Gackt, the Japanese musician, posted a photo of himself dressed as Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core, per IGN.
That photo has the fandom convinced a revival of the PS2 spin-off Dirge of Cerberus might be brewing. Genesis is a key character in that game's lore, though the report stops short of any official confirmation.
Square Enix hasn't said a word, but the internet is already drafting its wishlist for a Vincent Valentine comeback. For now, it's just a very stylish, very intriguing tease.
