First look at A24's redesigned Jason Voorhees in Crystal Lake prequel
The famously hockey-masked horror icon is getting a fresh coat of blood for a new streaming series. MovieWeb reports that A24 has officially revealed its first look at Jason Voorhees for the upcoming Peacock prequel series, "Crystal Lake."
New posters for the show, per JoBlo, give us a better look at the early years of the Voorhees family legacy. The images feature Linda Cardellini as Jason's mother, Pamela Voorhees, and Callum Vinson playing a young Jason.
It's a full-on Friday the 13th origin story, diving back into the murky waters of Camp Crystal Lake long before the body count got out of hand.
