Fortnite's FNAF crossover becomes most-liked reveal ever
The announcement that Five Nights at Freddy's is coming to Fortnite has shattered all engagement records for the game's social media. According to IGN, the post from Epic Games confirming the crossover has amassed over 312,000 likes, making it the most-liked post in the battle royale's history.
This massive response has officially dethroned previous major crossover reveals. The FNAF announcement has now surpassed the likes for Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and even the Avengers: Infinity War collaboration that debuted back in 2018. It even beat the hype for the return of Fortnite's original map.
A trailer for the event shows that skins for Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy will be available. A themed in-game location, a pizza restaurant, is already under construction on the island map as a teaser.
Per the report, the Five Nights at Freddy's cosmetics are expected to launch on October 1, coinciding with the start of the Fortnitemares Halloween event. This year's celebration is set to run for an entire month.
