Fourth Wing TV Series Casts Its Leads for Amazon Adaptation

Amazon's upcoming "Fourth Wing" series has locked in its two main stars. Per Variety, Esther McGregor will play protagonist Violet Sorrengail, while Emilio Sakraya takes on the role of Xaden Riorson.

The show is a TV adaptation of Rebecca Yarros's bestselling romantic fantasy novels. Amazon declined to comment on the casting news when contacted by the outlet.

In other casting news reported by TVLine, Lauren Cohan has boarded the horror thriller series "Stillwater." She will portray a character named Cat, a former homecoming queen whose personality has hardened over time.

The series, according to the report, centers on a man who arrives in a mysterious town where the residents do not age or die. Mark O'Brien and Mia Tomlinson have also joined the project as series regulars.
