Fox’s Baywatch reboot trailer drops with slow-mo, rescues, and Stephen Amell
The first trailer for Fox's upcoming Baywatch reboot is here, and it's packed with exactly what you'd expect. According to Variety, the three-minute preview features plenty of slow-motion beach running, dramatic rescues, and shots of its cast in swimwear.
The series stars Stephen Amell as Hobie Buchannon, now a Baywatch captain following in his father Mitch's footsteps. Per TVLine, his world is disrupted by the arrival of Charlie, played by Jessica Belkin, the daughter he never knew who wants to become a lifeguard.
Variety reports the ensemble includes Shay Mitchell, Brooks Nader, and Hassie Harrison, alongside Noah Beck, Livvy Dunne, and David Chokachi. Megan Thee Stallion also makes a cameo in the trailer.
TVLine notes the reboot will feature returning faces from the original series. David Chokachi will reprise his role as Cody Madison, with appearances from other legacy stars including Erika Eleniak and Michael Bergin.
Fox has scheduled the Baywatch reboot to premiere in January.
