Free GTA 6 T-shirts from Tokyo Game Show selling for hundreds online
Shirts handed out for free at the Tokyo Game Show are already hitting the resale market at steep prices.
According to IGN, the T-shirts were given exclusively to attendees who got into an immersive screening of the GTA 6 Netflix special. The screening featured the extended trailer with added 4D effects and surround sound, per the report.
The GTA 6 booth was so popular it closed after just ten minutes, leaving many fans without the commemorative swag. Per IGN, a browse on eBay shows listings for the free shirts priced between $140 and $200.
Other free items from Rockstar's booth, like branded stickers and carabiners, are also being resold online for around $30 to $40, IGN noted.
The outlet points out this scalping phenomenon isn't new, citing examples from other franchises like One Piece and Pokemon.
