Frisco King with Samuel L. Jackson sets December premiere on Paramount+

Samuel L. Jackson is taking his Taylor Sheridan mobster to Texas. According to Collider and TVLine, the Tulsa King spin-off Frisco King will premiere on Paramount+ on December 18, 2026, with a two-episode debut.

The series follows Jackson's character, New Orleans gangster Russell Lee Washington Jr., as he arrives in Frisco, Texas. Per the official logline reported by both outlets, he discovers a hustler's playground beneath the suburb's surface and builds a criminal enterprise with a protégé, a driver, and eccentric partners.

The first trailer, noted by JoBlo and TVLine, shows Jackson's Russell plotting with Sylvester Stallone's Tulsa King character, Dwight Manfredi. Stallone confirmed to Collider he will appear in two and a half episodes, comparing his dynamic with Jackson to "Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier."

Taylor Sheridan, creator of Tulsa King, wrote all eight Season 1 scripts, per TVLine. The cast includes Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann. Jackson, Stallone, and Sheridan are among the executive producers.

New episodes of Frisco King will roll out weekly on Fridays following the December 18 premiere.
