Game Informer's GTA 6 Cover Promises New Info and Screens
The next big info dump on Grand Theft Auto VI is coming via a magazine stand, not a trailer. According to Push Square, Game Informer's upcoming issue will feature the game on its cover, promising exclusive details and a dozen new screenshots.
The cover shows protagonists Jason and Lucia in a stylized image, sitting in a car outfitted with weapons. The magazine teased that its 14-page cover story includes interviews with Rockstar Games. The issue is scheduled to hit shelves on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
The interviews and new information are said to cover several game features. Per Push Square's report, these include the title's 'advanced' weather system, its wildlife, and the research Rockstar conducted in Miami and Florida to craft what it calls the most culturally and aesthetically accurate world to date.
This confirms a long-awaited magazine feature that some fans had prematurely celebrated earlier in the year, when a different Game Informer cover turned out to be for another game entirely.
