Game of Thrones RTS delayed to 2027 as devs take time for quality
Fans of real-time strategy and Westeros will have to wait a little longer. Rock Paper Shotgun reports that the upcoming game Game of Thrones: War For Westeros has been pushed back to 2027.
The developers at PlaySide said that while the project is progressing well, they need extra time to ensure it hits a high level of quality. The game is described as an Age of Empires-style RTS featuring familiar houses like the Targaryens and Lannisters.
No specific new date was provided, but the studio has decided to play their turn carefully rather than rush their strategic rendition of the Seven Kingdoms.
