Game of Thrones RTS 'War for Westeros' pushed all the way to 2027
Winter is coming, but the war for Westeros is taking a much longer route to your PC. PlaySide Studios has delayed its upcoming Game of Thrones real-time strategy game, citing a need to polish the project.
The studio announced the push to 2027 is to "ensure the game reaches the high level of quality we are aiming for," per Eurogamer. The title is based on the sprawling fantasy universe from George R.R. Martin's books and the hit HBO series.
Fans will now have to wait several more years before they can command armies across the Seven Kingdoms.
