Game of Thrones Strategy Game Delayed to 2027
Winter is coming, but apparently not until 2027. PlaySide Studios has officially pushed back the release window for Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, according to IGN.
The real-time strategy title, which is set in the universe of HBO's massive TV series, was reportedly slated for a sooner arrival. Now, fans will have to wait a few more years to wage war for the Iron Throne.
No specific reason for the delay was given by the developer in the report. We'll be waiting a while to see if this strategy game can conquer the Seven Kingdoms.
