George Lucas Declares AI the Inevitable Future of Filmmaking

George Lucas has some strong opinions about the direction of Hollywood and the rise of AI. The Star Wars creator says embracing artificial intelligence is as unavoidable as adopting cars over horses, per Kotaku and PC Gamer. He bluntly stated, 'There's nothing you can do about it... it's the future.'

Variety reports Lucas also took a swing at modern studio practices. He criticized Hollywood for giving too much power to fans through focus groups and test screenings.

His comments come from a recent interview with A Rabbit's Foot, as covered by IGN. Lucas famously sold Lucasfilm to Disney and stepped away from the franchise over a decade ago.
