Ghost of Tsushima anime delayed to 2028, adds Star Wars: Visions talent

Fans of Jin Sakai are going to be waiting a little longer for his animated adventure. According to Push Square, Crunchyroll has announced that the anime adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima has been pushed back from a 2027 release to 2028.
Alongside the delay, new talent has joined the project. GameSpot notes that the anime has tapped actors like Mayumi Saco and Shinya Fukumatsu for the cast, though their specific roles remain under wraps. Saco previously voiced the character Tomoe in the original game.
Push Square reports that composer Keiji Inai, known for his work on the Star Wars: Visions anthology, has been brought on board to score the series. Other crew additions include Yoshikazu Iwanami handling sound direction and Yasumasa Koyama on sound effects.
The anime, officially titled Ghost of Tsushima Legends, is a collaboration between PlayStation Productions, Aniplex, and Hayate. It will be an exclusive stream on Crunchyroll upon its eventual release.
