Ghost Recon Wildlands gets a major free update for its 25th anniversary
The seven-year-old shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting a major free update to mark the Ghost Recon franchise's 25th anniversary, according to VGC and PC Gamer.
Reportedly returning players to a "darker, more oppressive Bolivia," the update adds the new Last Rites mission. It also restores 4K60 support on newer consoles and makes hundreds of in-game items available for free for the first time.
The Predator crossover content, which was controversially removed in 2020, remains gone. To further celebrate the anniversary, PC Gamer notes Ubisoft is also giving away copies of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
