Glen Powell and Richard Linklater re-team for new Lou Gehrig biopic
Richard Linklater and Glen Powell are set for another collaboration, this time for a film about baseball legend Lou Gehrig. According to reports from Variety and TheWrap, the project is heading to Universal Pictures.
This marks the third time the director and star will work together, following "Hit Man" and "Everybody Wants Some!" The film will be written by Simon Rich.
Lorne Michaels is also on board as a producer, per both outlets. The untitled biopic will chronicle the life and career of the Hall of Famer famously known as "The Iron Horse."
