Santa Monica Studio confirmed the hotly anticipated sequel "will be available on disc," per GameSpot. Since Sony's cut-off is January 2028, this strongly suggests the game will launch before that date.
Eurogamer reports this tweet essentially hints at a 2027 release window. The studio is set to showcase the game at San Diego Comic-Con in July, so more concrete details are likely on the way.
