God of War Laufey Pre-orders Open Tomorrow, Editions Detailed

PlayStation gamers can officially put money down on the next God of War starting tomorrow. According to a report from Push Square, pre-orders for God of War Laufey on PS5 will open on September 29, 2026.

The game is still scheduled for a February 16, 2027 release. Sony detailed two versions: a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition. Both will offer identical incentives for players who pre-order.

The outlet also shared new gameplay details about the protagonist, Faye. She wields the Serpent Bow, a weapon that can fire automatically or switch to manual aiming based on trigger pressure. Players can also customize her sword, bow, and arrows, and equip her with items called Catalysts.

A studio statement thanked fans for their support since the game's June reveal, promising more news to come. The report included new PS5 Pro screenshots teasing the game's depiction of the afterlife.
