Gran Turismo 7's next update revives classic track Autumn Ring after 13 years
Gran Turismo 7 is getting a huge two-part expansion before the year is out, and it's bringing back a fan-favorite circuit. According to IGN, the upcoming 'Spec IV' update will reintroduce Autumn Ring, a track not seen in the main series since 2013's Gran Turismo 6.
The update will be delivered in two chunks, the first arriving in October and the second following in December. The October portion adds the real-world Japanese track Sportsland Sugo, six new cars, and a 'Vintage' section for classic models.
December's update is where the classic returns, featuring Autumn Ring with both its original layout and a new, expanded version. That drop also brings six more cars, a beginner-friendly 'Family' mode, and a randomized event where players get assigned a car.
The full package, per the report, includes over a dozen new vehicles, new driving challenges, and a raised Collector Level cap. The news was part of PlayStation's latest State of Play broadcast.
