GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to exit PlayStation Plus next month

PlayStation Plus subscribers are about to lose access to a major chunk of Rockstar's catalog. According to IGN, titles including Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 will be pulled from the PS Plus Game Catalog on November 17.
The removals apply to the Extra and Premium subscription tiers, which offer a rotating library of titles. Gamespot also reported the upcoming departure of these and other titles. Once gone, the games will be locked even if downloaded, unless users buy them separately.
IGN notes the timing coincides with the imminent launch of Grand Theft Auto VI. The outlet suggested it could be a good moment for players to revisit the older titles.
The removal list also includes the puzzle game The Talos Principle 2. Meanwhile, Sony has introduced several new games to the service, such as the crime drama Mafia: Definitive Edition and the sci-fi sequel Horizon Forbidden West.
