GTA 6 Launch Trailer Drops New Story Details And Justice Score
Rockstar Games has finally unveiled the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving fans a meaty look at the story. The footage sets up the criminal adventure of dual protagonists Jason and Lucia across the sun-soaked state of Leonida, according to a report from VICE.
The new clip provides fresh context for the leading pair. GameSpot notes the trailer reveals Jason has a military background but now faces employment struggles. VICE's breakdown adds that a scene shows Lucia contacting Jason while she is incarcerated, hinting at their reunion before the chaos begins.
Per the studio's official description reported by VICE, the duo's plan for a simple heist spirals out of control, dragging them into a vast criminal conspiracy. They'll have to depend on each other to survive the dangers of America's so-called sunniest place.
The trailer also features the new track 'Flower in a Hurricane' from Justice, which includes contributions from Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Importantly, VICE confirms that the electronic duo Justice is also responsible for composing the game's entire original score.
Players won't have to wait too much longer. The game is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles this fall, with a specific release date of November 19. Digital pre-loading will start a week prior on November 12.
