GTA 6 lets players throw dog poop at NPCs, per developer chat
You can now fulfill a very specific fantasy in Grand Theft Auto 6: picking up dog waste and hurling it at someone. According to Kotaku, this detail came from a YouTuber who spoke with a Rockstar studio lead during a preview event.
The outlet reports that if a pedestrian's dog defecates and they bag it, you can assault them to make them drop the bag. You can then pick up that bag of poop and throw it at other people.
Beyond the scatological, the game will feature more wholesome canine interactions. Players will be able to pet dogs and even scold them, though the reason for the latter is unclear. A dog also appears to live with protagonists Lucia and Jason.
Kotaku notes that actions like disposing of trash or petting animals tie into an in-game system that rewards stealth and avoiding civilian casualties, framing it as being a 'good criminal' rather than a good person.
