Hal Jordan's killer revealed and John Stewart gets a new ring in Lanterns finale

The mystery of Hal Jordan's death has finally been solved in the season finale of HBO Max's Lanterns.

According to Variety, the killer was revealed to be Hank Henshaw, also known as Cyborg Superman. The finale also featured a significant moment for Sinestro, who was shown forging his own yellow power ring.

In a major development for the upcoming Superman sequel, the episode concluded with John Stewart receiving a new power ring directly from the Guardians of the Oa. This sets him up to join the cast of the next Superman film.

The episode served as both a season and potentially series finale, as HBO has not yet announced a renewal for the show.
