HBO Max gives early season 2 renewal to 'Big Bang Theory' spinoff

Stuart will get another shot at not saving the universe. HBO Max has already greenlit a second season for its new "Big Bang Theory" spinoff, "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe," according to reports from Variety and TVLine.

The streamer made the call after only four of the show's ten-episode first season had aired. It premiered just last month.

The quick renewal suggests HBO Max is confident in the series, which has been described as a genre-bending comedy.
