Horror Mogul Pablo Guisa Backs Two Films at Costa Rica Genre Market

Horror producer Pablo Guisa, founder of the Grupo Mórbido outfit, is lending his support to the Costa Rica Media Market. Per Variety, he's signed on to produce two new genre films for the event.

The projects are 'Greetings from Maryland' from El Salvador's Ricardo B'atz' and 'What Lives in the Storm.' The move is seen as a major vote of confidence in the market's growing reputation as a destination for genre filmmaking.

Guisa also used the market to launch a new 'Blood Bank' initiative, details of which are still under wraps.
