Hunt Showdown headlines October PS Plus lineup

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus games for October 2026, which will be available starting October 6. The reveal was reported by Eurogamer.

The main attraction this month is Crytek's extraction shooter Hunt: Showdown 1896. Eurogamer notes the game received a major overhaul last summer, making this console version a fresh experience.

In a past review quoted by the outlet, Edwin described the game's core tension: "It's a game in which stepping on a twig while chasing a zombie can get you shot from a hundred yards off."

The other two titles joining the service are the racing sim F1 25 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. The latter is a blocky, stylized spin-off from the main series that features local co-op.

As always, subscribers have until October 5 to claim the previous month's games before they rotate out.
