Iranian director Mohsen Gharaei's 'Falling House' gets sales agent ahead of Venice
Iranian filmmaker Mohsen Gharaei’s next project is headed to the Venice Film Festival. His new feature, titled “Falling House,” has been picked up for worldwide sales by Paradise City Sales, per Variety.
The film is set to have its world premiere in the Horizons section of the prestigious festival. This marks Gharaei's follow-up to his 2017 drama “Blockage.”
That previous film, which depicted contemporary Iranian society, won the best film award at the Busan International Film Festival.
