Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi to receive top honor at Sarajevo festival

The Sarajevo Film Festival is giving a major award to acclaimed director Asghar Farhadi.

As reported by Variety, Farhadi will receive the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo this August in recognition of his contributions to cinema. The festival will also host a retrospective of his work.

The Iranian filmmaker is a two-time Oscar winner, having taken home Academy Awards for 'A Separation' and 'The Salesman.'
