‘It: Welcome to Derry’ gets a second season order from HBO
Pennywise is not done yet. HBO has officially renewed the horror prequel series ‘It: Welcome to Derry’ for a second season, according to Variety.
The show, which serves as a prequel to the recent ‘It’ films, first premiered on HBO Max last October. TheWrap reports that the next installment will jump back to 1935 during the Great Depression, centering on a bloody massacre involving a group of bank robbers called the Bradley Gang.
This news confirms the streaming service is still betting big on Stephen King’s terrifying universe.
