J.J. Abrams' The Great Beyond delayed to 2027 in Warner Bros. shakeup

J.J. Abrams' next sci-fi flick just got pushed back. Warner Bros. has shaken up its 2027 calendar, and the Glen Powell-starring film is moving out of its planned fall release slot.

According to JoBlo, the studio is shifting several titles, including The Great Beyond, Panic Carefully, and Revenge of La Llorona. TheWrap reports the original sci-fi movie was due this autumn but has now been delayed a full year.

No official reason was given for the schedule shuffle, which sees the Abrams-produced project joining a crowded future lineup. Fans of Powell and Abrams' brand of mystery box storytelling will have to wait a bit longer.
