Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture Trailer Debuts at NYCC 2026

The first trailer and details for Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture have been revealed at New York Comic Con 2026, per IGN.

The game is a weed farming simulator from Nitrate Games, set in Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse. Players will build and expand a cannabis farm while interacting with a host of familiar characters.

According to IGN, the story is an original narrative written by Ernie Altbacker, described by developers as a continuation of the film series. Nitrate Games co-founder Montana Sommese stated the central narrative picks up where the movies left off, calling the game a kind of sequel.

Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes have been involved creatively from the start. In a statement provided to IGN, Smith joked, “Since Jay and Silent Bob are the stars of this hilarious growing game, I cannot wait to play with myself!”

The panel revealed a long list of characters from Smith’s films appearing in the game, including Dante and Randal from Clerks, Brodie from Mallrats, and Azrael from Dogma.

Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture is heading into playtesting with an expected PC release in late Spring 2027. A console release is also planned for that year.
