Jen Shah completes prison sentence, says 'I feel blessed, I feel free'
Reality TV personality Jen Shah is officially a free woman. The Hollywood Reporter confirms she finished her federal prison sentence on Friday, having been released to home confinement in December.
Shah shared an exclusive statement with THR, expressing her feelings. "I feel blessed. I feel free," she said. "For a very long time, I wasn’t in a position to speak for myself while my story continued to be told around me."
According to the outlet, Shah admitted to her part in a wire fraud conspiracy in 2022. She was later given a six-and-a-half year prison term, which was shortened, leading to her release last year. The case involved a telemarketing scheme that targeted elderly victims.
In her statement, Shah acknowledged her actions. "I made decisions that had serious consequences, and I accept those consequences," she said. She added that she is focused on the future, ready to work on new projects and reconnect with family.
The timing coincided with her 32nd wedding anniversary, which she called a "gift." Shah said she is now looking forward to deciding what her next chapter holds.
