Jeremy Renner Says Avengers 'Will Probably Lose' Without Hawkeye

Hold onto your bows, because Hawkeye won't be on the team for the next big Avengers mission. Jeremy Renner has confirmed he will not appear in the upcoming Marvel film 'Avengers: Doomsday,' and he's not shy about predicting the outcome.
In a recent interview highlighted by Variety, Renner was asked if he was returning for the movie. "No, no, no, no. Not in that one," he said. "'Doomsday' I'm not in, so the Avengers will probably lose, just so you know... they didn't call me, so it's their fault."
While he's sitting this one out, Renner expressed excitement for the re-release of 'Avengers: Endgame.' The actor has played the sharpshooting hero in multiple Marvel films and the 'Hawkeye' Disney+ series.
Last year, Renner told Empire he was open to returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whether for a second season of 'Hawkeye' or another project. He also stated he had recovered "more than 150%" from his serious 2023 snowmobile accident and was ready for stunt work. 'Avengers: Doomsday' is scheduled for release on December 18.
