Johnny Depp reunites with Penélope Cruz in horror-tinged 'Day Drinker' trailer
The first teaser for the revenge thriller 'Day Drinker' is here, and it shows Johnny Depp back on screen with Penélope Cruz. The Hollywood Reporter revealed the trailer, which gives a first look at Marc Webb's Lionsgate film.
The story follows a private-yacht bartender played by Madelyn Cline. She meets a mysterious guest, portrayed by Depp with an Irish accent. Their encounter soon pulls them into the orbit of a criminal figure, which is Cruz's role. In the clip, Depp's character asks, "Don't you sometimes want to misbehave?"

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this project is the third collaboration between Depp and Cruz, who have previously shared the screen in the fourth 'Pirates of the Caribbean' film and the drama 'Blow'. The film is set for a theatrical release on March 26, 2027.
The report also notes this is the second major trailer for a Depp-starring project recently, following the July debut of footage for 'Ebenezer', a remake of 'A Christmas Carol' due this November.
