Josh Brolin almost quit Ridley Scott's The Dog Stars on day one

The final trailer for Ridley Scott's post-apocalyptic epic The Dog Stars has dropped, showing off the grim new world. But the project almost lost its star right out of the gate.

According to JoBlo, lead actor Josh Brolin nearly walked away from the film on his very first day of shooting. No reason for his near-exit was provided in the report.

The trailer gives audiences a fresh look at the high-stakes survival story as Scott prepares to unleash it on the world.
