Konami probes new Silent Hill 2 performance woes after latest PS5 patch
Konami has confirmed it's on the case after the latest update for the Silent Hill 2 remake appears to have broken its performance mode. The company is investigating fresh problems on both PS5 and PS5 Pro that cropped up after last week's Patch 1.07, per Eurogamer.
Players are reporting a variety of new technical glitches following the patch, which was meant to fix things, not make them worse. It's a classic case of one step forward, two steps back for the horror remake.
