Lancer TTRPG Expands With Two New Hardcover Books In 2027
The Lancer tabletop roleplaying game is getting a pair of new physical books next year. According to IGN, publisher Massif Press is teaming with Dark Horse Books to release two hardcover volumes in March 2027, with preorders starting now.
The first release, 'Operation Fulcrum Dawn,' bundles two introductory adventure modules designed for newcomers. One mission, 'Operation Solstice Rain,' tasks rookie mech pilots with a rescue operation in a war-torn city, taking characters from License Level 0 to 2. A second module, 'Operation Winter Scar,' continues the campaign against a hostile military force, advancing pilots to LL4. The book will include printed battle maps and tactical advice.
The second book is 'Lancer: Setting Guide Volume 1,' which compiles expansions for two major regions in the game's universe. It details the politically turbulent Karrakin Trade Baronies and the lawless frontier sector known as the Long Rim. Both books are intended to supplement the existing Lancer core rulebook.
Per IGN, preorders for both titles are live at major online retailers like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Each book is priced at $29.99. 'Operation Fulcrum Dawn' is scheduled to ship on March 16, 2027, while the 'Setting Guide' is set for March 30, 2027.
