LL Cool J and Scott Caan trade barbs in new NCIS: New York trailer
A fresh teaser for the upcoming CBS spin-off "NCIS: New York" shows LL Cool J back in action as NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna, per TVLine.
In the preview, Hanna is seen handling cases worldwide before getting called back to his original stomping grounds of New York City. There, he's paired with a new partner, Special Agent Nick Schaeffer, played by Scott Caan.
The two agents immediately establish their rapport through playful insults about each other's stature. The clip also introduces Jennifer Beals as their boss, Robyn Wells.
The series is set to launch this fall on CBS, scheduled for Tuesday nights at 9:00 PM. It will air between the original "NCIS" and the new prequel "NCIS: Origins."
The supporting cast includes Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper, and Devin Druid. Executive producer R. Scott Gemmill, creator of HBO Max's "The Pitt," is behind the new show.
