A London Disney store has canceled its latest Lorcana release after being mobbed by an overzealous crowd. Per IGN, a massive swarm of fans lined up for blocks, with reports of some getting "aggressive" toward other players in line.
The scene was so intense the store was forced to close its doors, with Kotaku reporting over 100 people had gathered, some camping for over 12 hours. The location now remains closed "until further notice."
A statement obtained by Kotaku cited the company's priority, saying, "The safety of the local community is always our top priority." It seems the quest for new trading cards has officially crossed into real-world chaos.
