The Master Chief is officially packing his bags for a trip to Sony territory. According to Push Square, Halo: Campaign Evolved has officially gone gold, meaning the core game is finished and ready to be pressed onto discs.

The title is slated to land exclusively on PlayStation 5 on July 28, 2026, marking the iconic Spartan's first-ever appearance on a PlayStation console. With the 1.0 version locked down, the team at Halo Studios can now focus on post-launch updates and patches.

This move shakes up the long-standing console rivalry, bringing one of Xbox's flagship franchises to its competitor's hardware for the very first time.
