Matt Damon makes his video game debut as 'The Odyssey' skins hit Fortnite
Matt Damon is officially a video game character, courtesy of Fortnite. Epic Games announced the actor's likeness will appear as Odysseus, the hero he plays in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film 'The Odyssey,' per Variety.
The new collaboration adds multiple skins from the Greek epic, including Agamemnon, for players to use in the game. The news comes after Epic teased the crossover with a cryptic clip of Odysseus on social media.
GameSpot reports this is Damon's first video game appearance, though it almost happened much sooner. A 2008 title, 'The Bourne Conspiracy,' originally planned to feature Damon reprising his famous Jason Bourne role, but it never came to pass.
