Matthew Daddario Joins Chicago Fire Cast for Season 15
TVLine reports that actor Matthew Daddario is the latest addition to the crew of NBC's Chicago Fire. His casting was revealed by current cast member Da'Vinchi, who posted a photo on Instagram with Daddario and co-star Brandon Larracuente.
The show will come back for its fifteenth season on October 7. New episodes will air at 9 PM, positioned between Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. on the network's schedule.
This new arrival follows several recent exits from the firehouse drama. Last month, original cast member Joe Miñoso, who plays Joe Cruz, was reported to be departing after the start of the new season. TVLine also confirmed that Dermot Mulroney, who portrays Battalion Chief Dom Pascal, will leave early in Season 15.
Daddario is best known for playing Alec Lightwood on the Freeform series Shadowhunters, which concluded in 2019. His other television roles include appearances on Why Women Kill and Blue Bloods.
