Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed scores a second season order from Apple TV

Apple TV has officially renewed its thriller series 'Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed' for a second season, TheWrap reports. A writers’ room is already up and running, with production slated for the first half of 2027.

Series creator David J. Rosen said in a statement, per TVLine, that the renewal is "all pretty amazing for a show whose title came from a spam email." The show stars Tatiana Maslany as newly divorced mother Paula, who gets tangled in a murder conspiracy after a webcam call with an online escort, all while navigating a custody battle.

According to TheWrap, the first season concluded with Paula winning shared custody of her daughter and tracing the conspiracy to powerful New York figures, setting the stage for a more dangerous investigation. The ensemble cast includes Jake Johnson, Murray Bartlett, and Dolly De Leon.

Rosen serves as writer and executive producer, with David Gordon Green directing and executive producing. The series is a production of Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios. Season one is currently streaming on Apple TV.
