Modern Warfare 4 beta dates locked in for August
Activision has pulled the trigger on the beta schedule for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, per multiple reports.
According to GameSpot and others, the action kicks off August 21 for players who pre-order, giving them five days of early access on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. PC Gamer notes that, unlike last year, Game Pass subscribers get no special early entry.
The full open beta then launches for everyone starting August 28, running through September 1. Nintendo Life confirms that Switch players won't need a pre-order to join that open phase, just an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
