Modern Warfare 4 DLC honors real soldier Kyle Carpenter

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is out now, and its first DLC pack is already available. According to GameSpot, the pack is the traditional day-one 'Call of Duty Endowment' add-on.

The proceeds from this pack will go to Activision's charity, which helps military veterans find jobs after their service. The DLC is called the CODE Valor Pack.

This particular pack adds content dedicated to a real person. It honors Kyle Carpenter, a Medal of Honor recipient.

GameSpot reports that Carpenter sustained gruesome injuries during his service. His story is now part of the game's first wave of post-launch content.
