Modern Warfare 4's Captain Price Gets Haircut After Beta Model Mocked Online
The internet roasted Captain Price's beta look in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and the developers are listening. A visual bug on the game's lowest settings made the character's hair render as just a few wisps over a flat texture, per VGC.
Screenshots of the balding, poorly textured Price quickly went viral. One fan on X famously joked, "That ain't Captain Price; that's Lieutenant Cost."
The official Call of Duty account responded to the issue, clarifying that the problem should only appear for players not meeting the recommended specs. They confirmed the team would address the hair model in a future update.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is set to launch on October 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2. This marks the series' return to a Nintendo platform after more than ten years.
