Mortal Kombat 2 hits HBO Max this July

Grab your controllers, kombatants. Warner Bros. and HBO Max have confirmed that Mortal Kombat 2 will arrive for streaming subscribers on July 24.

Per Polygon, the streaming date is slated just ahead of the film's physical media release, likely making HBO Max the first place fans can catch the sequel.

The 2026 feature will continue the blood-soaked saga based on the iconic fighting game franchise.
