Myles Bullock Be Cast as Dr. Dre in Upcoming Snoop Dogg Biopic
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that actor Myles Bullock Be has been tapped to play rap legend Dr. Dre in the upcoming Snoop Dogg biopic titled *Snoop*.
Jonathan Daviss, known for Netflix's *Outer Banks*, is set to portray the film's namesake. The project is being directed by Craig Brewer, who also contributed to the script.
According to the outlet, the film will explore the pivotal early-90s partnership between Dre and Snoop Dogg. Dre's discovery of a Snoop demo tape led to collaborations on his album *The Chronic* and Snoop's landmark debut *Doggystyle*.
The biopic is being produced by Snoop Dogg himself alongside Brian Grazer and others. Universal Pictures has scheduled the movie for release on August 6, 2027.
Bullock Be previously worked with director Brewer on a limited series for Peacock about a high-stakes boxing robbery. The actor is currently filming a new *Prison Break* series for Hulu.
