Nathan Fillion confirms his Green Lantern gets a new 'do for Man of Tomorrow
Nathan Fillion is back as Guy Gardner in 2027's 'Man of Tomorrow', and the actor has confirmed a minor but much-discussed tweak to the character.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, reported by ScreenRant, Fillion revealed the update is to the hero's signature hair. "We updated the hairdo just a little bit," he said.
Fillion's Guy Gardner won't be the only Green Lantern in the film. Aaron Pierre will also reprise his role as John Stewart. The sequel, currently in production, will see David Corenswet's Superman and Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor forced to team up against the villain Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger.
Fillion, who is also set to appear in 'Peacemaker' season 2, 'Lanterns', and the 'Mister Miracle' animated series, described Guy Gardner as a "connective tissue" for the DC Universe. He told ScreenRant, "He's the thread that weaves throughout the fabric of this universe."
Exactly how the two Green Lanterns fit into the 'Man of Tomorrow' plot remains under wraps at DC Studios.
