NCIS: Origins Reunites Gibbs and DiNozzo On Screen After 10 Years

Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly are set to share the screen next week, per Variety. The actors will reprise their iconic NCIS roles as Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Tony DiNozzo on the Tuesday, October 20 episode of 'NCIS: Origins'.

The reunion, also reported by TVLine, marks their first on-screen appearance together since Weatherly's character exited the original series a decade ago. In the episode, Gibbs returns to NCIS headquarters to seek help from DiNozzo, who is now the agency's director, after Gibbs is shot.

Harmon serves as an executive producer and narrator for the prequel series, which stars Austin Stowell as a young Gibbs in the 1990s. The show's cast also features Mariel Molino, Kyle Schmid, Tyla Abercrumbie, Diany Rodriguez, and Caleb Foote.

According to CBS, the Season 3 premiere of 'NCIS: Origins' that aired on October 6 drew an average of 4.39 million viewers. The network says that was a 20 percent increase over its year-ago premiere.
