The movie has assembled a major voice cast, according to both outlets. Kate Winslet, Helena Bonham Carter, and Nicola Coughlan are joining stars Kit Connor and director Taika Waititi.
JoBlo reports the plot involves Charlie pulling a heist, asking 'Wonka out of prison?' in a cheeky nod to the classic tale. The animated adventure is officially scheduled to hit screens in 2027.
